Shame on me. One of the nuggies uploaded this show to me right after it all went down at The Bowery Ballroom. I listened to it and was completely blown away, having never seen Robert Randolph before but having heard rave reviews from all the freaks back in The City. In all the excitement of the west coast tours this summer this show slipped through the cracks. For shame!

Unless you've been frequenting the Southern Pentacostal ministries of Northern Jersey, you've probably never seen Robert Randolph until recently. His pedal steel will rip you to shreds. Team him up with Medeski's Hammond and assorted keys, and you've got yourself a force to be reckoned with. WORD!
